Old pyrometer from 1960’s works like a champ. They don’t make stuff like this any more.
Old West pyrometer base with thermocouple. The control was made in the 60’s. Firing my kiln today the temperature is about 2300 degrees. the kiln will turn off at 2360 degrees. There will be some new pottery coming out of this kiln load Tuesday morning.
